Tier lists are more of a assessment of a characters potential and results in high level competitive play. They are not set in stone nor do they guarantee an easy win, just a bit of an advantage/disadvantage due to the matchup. Just remember that their isn't a huge gap between a top tier and a bottom tier in Smash 4.
