how are we able to play smash brothers with each other if we can't give out our FCs?

im just curious is all ,plus i dont even have anyone who has smash brothers to begin with..well i meet someone in realife who does but yeah again im just curious sorry to bother with that question. ,also sorry if closed my pervious post ^^; i am still curious who does play smash bros 3DS XD
