I think this makes Perfect Sense

Peach and Rosalina are playable characters in this game and not Daisy. I have plenty of Chips, Popcorn, and Fries so BRING ON THE SALT!

    i think people would favor geno or paper mario more than daisy imo. also its too bad wolf is not in smash4,his recovery would've benefited alot. i tire of "sd"ing from wolf flash or fire wolf special moves.

    If wolf was put in from the beginning, then I'm sure he would have his own unique custom specials, like Falco and Toon Link, both of them are more like Clones than he is, but still more different than Dark Pit and Lucina.

    I think Nintendo is trying to be slick by ending DLC with 7 characters, 4 newcomers and 3 veterans(RIP DLC). I know Sakurai is resting right now, he deserves it. If Nintendo puts Wolf in Smash as DLC then the DLC roster will balanced by 8 characters instead of 7. Check out the Smash bros website on the DLC you'll see something not right about DLC.

    @T.O I think I'll do that soon to look into it, but there is already something else wrong with the DLC: TOO MANY MII COSTUMES AND NO CUSTOM SPECIALS.

    If they made Daisy's moveset based off of the spinoffs (Strikers, Sluggers, Party, Golf, etc.) she appears in and used her Strikers design, I'd be OK with her inclusion. But knowing Sakurai, she'd just be a shameless Peach clone, and that's something we can all live without. Unless Sakurai's willing to put effort into a Daisy moveset, I don't want to see who face on the roster.

    I thought that she would've at least been an assist trophy like Waluigi, but this is where they are different: Waluigi has only been in Spinoffs, and Daisy has had just one that isn't. I would be fine if she was a fighter, but the way Nintendo has gone about her inclusions, I just don't find it likely.

    At least half of the characters in the spinoff games are in all of them and more, whereas Daisy is exclusive to only those particular titles. The only possible loophole I see is some other characters aren't consistent. Here are some examples: Petey Piranha, King Boo Funky Kong, and just those games, Bowser Jr. and Diddy Kong.

    If they're going to make her playable, use stuff from the spinoffs and don't pull a Dark Pit & Lucina on us. If not, at least make her a proper alt. or an assist trophy.

    If she were to become an assist trophy, I wonder what game(s) would factor into her abilities. Waluigi uses a Tennis Racket, so it would be something different.
