    Wishful thinking, I guess. It's funny when I see "Who do you want in the next Smash Bros?" threads. But who knows. Namco could take the wheel.

    Sakurai (creator) didn't say that Smash was done for good, just Smash 4 (except for maybe a few more patches). It's more than likely that he WILL make another Smash game, there is a very credible rumor going around that Smash for the NX is in development, and finally, Sakurai said he was working on his next project at around the same time the rumor started...

    Sakurai said 4 might be his last one but someone else could easily take over. Zelda and Mario didn't end because miyamoto moved on to other things

    Sakurai leaving won't cause Smash to end, and if you think that……then tell me how he left Kirby, yet KIRBY'S FRANCHISE DIDN'T END? Because Kirby was a huge Nintendo icon (just like Smash) and huge icons tend to live on instead of ENDING due to 1 developer, that would be a huge crash on Nintendo's sells.

    Just 2 let u know: The creator said its HIS last game. Somebody might step up and make a new one, although I believe that this is the last one. I think they might make remakes for future nintendo consoles though, which could be possible
