Question

Adding Ryu was a bad marketing decision

Smash helps other game sales and this is no different with Ryu. The problem here is Ryu is helping out a PLAYSTATION 4 AND PC EXCLUSIVE in the form of Street Fighter V. Yeah SSF4 was on the 3DS but SFV wasn't even a year away and Ryu's smash release came between TWO SFV trailers. If it wasn't for Smash I don't think I would own a copy of Street Fighter V.
