    Differences: stages, some trophies, some music, game resolution, some game modes

    Partially different stages and trophies (Wii U has more in number than 3DS, though), 3DS gets Smash Run, Wii U gets Smash Tour and overall much more content across the board with more modes, settings, music, etc, along with obviously better visuals, audio and online play (connection is more consistent than on 3DS). Though of course, 3DS does benefit from portability.

    3ds has good sound quality but in comparison to the wii u it falls short over all I like the 3ds verson more but the wii u is good as well
