Possible new Mario combo?

While fighting a Shulk player, I discovered a Mario combo: U-Tilt, U-Air, U-Air, U-Tilt, U-Air, U-Air, and then another follow-up. It didn't KO, but I have a feeling that if you used it near an edge and replaced one of the U-Airs with F-Air, it could KO. But the question is: Is this already a known combo, or have I discovered something new?

  • Nothing Mario has combo's into a Fair, except for D-throw at around 100% if the opponent doesn't DI away. Depending on weight and rage and all that, of course.

  • @Jasper, oh, I didn't know that because I'm just beginning to learn Mario. Thanks for telling me, though.

  • Yeah, once you know your stuff with Mario, he almost plays himself. And it's why he's so great for learning.

  • @Jasper I just did it to my friend. It turns out that it CAN combo into F-Air. I'll upload the replay tommorow. It's not a 100% true combo, though.

  • Yes, well, it's a follow up, but not a combo. Falcon was quite clearly able to act before the last hit. It's just that Falcon Dive keeps him in place for a moment, so that didn't work out for him. It's probably a decent mix-up if the opponent doesn't know what to do in the situation.

  • Yeah, he could've air dodged and he would be fine. It still works pretty good on some players, though.

  • Exactly. I just wouldn't actively go fishing for it, but if an opportunity presents itself, it might be worth a shot.
