Why does Dr. Mario's Forward Air not meteor?

I really need to know, Sakurai...

  • Dr. Mario and Mario are supposed to be different. Dr. Mario's F-air doesn't meteor, but Mario's does. Dr. Mario's Up Smash is really angled, but I don't think Mario's is. Speed and power is already obvious.

  • On the plus side, its as powerful as Ganondorf's, just like in Melee.

  • It has a sweetspot, but it just has more power and knockback on it.

  • Unlike Mario's it can actually kill on stage. Probably his 2nd strongest move, after Forward Smash.
