    Uh... You are kinda late to the party. First, he's an assist trophy. Second, we got the final DLC. (possibly) And the last, he's not as iconic as Sonic. Heck, I would like Shadow, but there's just... No point of bringing him in. Like, we have enough 3rd party characters. However, I would like Snake to return. I miss him. A lot.

    plus if i made him a dlc i would make his final smash chaos portal where you get sucked in then he sends in a large chaos blast into it

    He has a point. Snake Probaly won't return (tho it'd be nice). As for Shadow, Nice that you want him in but chances are low. Not impossible, just low. I do want Waluigi in Smash though happy he's in there anyway, so don't be down if he's only an assit. Maybe you could get Smash Crusade, he's in that.

    Like others have said, DLC is over, and he's already an Assist Trophy. I think it would be cool to have Shadow too (in the NEXT game), but if we ever get another Sonic character, I highly doubt it would be Shadow. He's not as iconic as Tails or Knuckles, who would honestly be much better choices.

    Well, 1. He's already an Assist Trophy. 2. There is no more DLC coming for Smash 4. 3. Sonic already has a rep. It's Sonic.

    also,is he really that important anymore?i mean,i think the last game he had a major role in was sonic 06.nowadays he's just a minor boss.guess you could say he's just a (puts on sunglasses) SHADOW of his former self.(im sorry i'll leave now).but if we are gonna get another sonic rep,its most likely going to be tails.

    Shadow can't be added unless someone figured out to make a hack to this game. And do you know why snake's victory sound is the Metal Gear Solid Game over? There is a reason why the victory sound was put like that.
