  • For Super Smash Bros Brawl, 'Stickers'! You tell me that trying to collect them all wasn't the most tedious thing ever in a Smash game!

  • The Chao Gardens felt tacked on! I didn't like it being mandatory to collect all the emblems, in order to 100% complete both Adventure games!

  • Yeah...I'd agree with all those. Except the Chao Garden. I always thought it was a fun relaxing thing to do after you beat the main game. (And although Sonic 06 was a horrible travesty, that game will always have a special place in my heart..so many boxes...so much flying..) And yeah the stickers were pointless...

  • Oh, I see. I never tried to 100% either of the Adventure games.so yeah, that makes sense.

  • Although, according to a post I read on Tvtropes.com, collecting all the Stage rewards in order to get the Diskun trophy in Super Smash Bros Melee, might in fact be the worst example! That might also explain why they did away with the Stage rewards in the future smash games!

  • For pokemon, think Whitney's miltank, or GARY MOTHER&*!?ING OAK.

  • I also read that Mega man X6 was a terrible incomplete game with only 6 months worth of development!

  • Yeah, the Blue Shell and rubber-band AI made me stop playing the Mario Kart series after Mario Kart Wii! Despite those problems have been fixed in the later installments!

  • Yeah, I didn't really have trouble with the Sand Bird level either. The glitchy Pachinko machine on the other hand... *shudder* Remember that other secret level where you had to ride the rotting lily pad across the poisonous instant death water? Touch the walls and you're dead! That one sucked, too. Getting there was tedious, too with all the boat hopping with Yoshi.

  • Also, I feel like I didn't have as much trouble with the rotating barrels as most other people. Sure, I was confused for a little bit, but I don't remember it stopping me for more than a few minutes. Obviously I ran out of time on that level. ;)

  • These two words, on the other hand, will give Sonic fans nightmares: "Labyrinth Zone"

  • Here's a tip for the Lily Pad Special stage! If you find yourself having difficulty and you don't end up collecting all the red coins, you can walk on the wooden edges of the stream! It can still be frustrating as heck, but you at least have something to mitigate the difficulty! Not to mention, that you still have your Hover Nozzle!

  • @Captain M I've actually done that many times! It's saved me quite a few lives, but you're right, it just makes the level even more tedious than it already is. At least it's not as bad as the completely broken Pachinko death trap.

    Yeahs0
  • I think the Lily Pad Special was worse! If you died, you ended up back in Delfino Plaza and had to do the whole thing over again! They wouldn't give you the mercy of just starting again inside the special stage, like they did with the others!

  • I didn't have that much trouble with Labrynth Zone..and getting Yoshi out to that tiny little island is probably up there with the most tedious things I've had to do in a videogame..why does he die when he touches water? In every other game he is in, he can clearly swim. I actually don't even remember my own experience with the sand Bird..I was mostly making a joke out of what other people said.
