Story mode pairings

So if Smash is ever to get another story mode, what character pairings would you like to see? You can include characters that aren't in the game yet, just try to keep them somewhat realistic. I'll list mine in the comments as well.

    Samus and Bayonetta close frienship and rivalry (pretty much like Samus and Gandrayda in MP3). Ness/Lucas, or at least one-sided, since you know, Paula. Toon Link/Female Villager. Little Mac/Wii Fit Trainer. Besides the typical Mario/Peach and Link/Zelda.
