    Turns out you have to just do it twice. There's just no sane way to do it in one go. Get the first two green stars and then restart it. Just have to keep long jumping until the first fire flower. Then jump on top of the blocks and then long jump from the edge of the wall, across the clear pipes, jump over block of the first fire bar, defeat the fire bros and then long jump the rest. Good lord.
