So, there is absolutely no way to get the spinner for Link besides buying the Link amiibo?

    You can only unlock it with Link or Toon Link but once you do you get free Spinners as weapon drops at random so you really need it the one time. Ask a friend if you can use it to unlock it.

    The Spinner is one the most fun weapons in the game. It's a shame that the Link amiibo is the only way to unlock it but it's totally worth it. Sorry I couldn't help. :(

    I agree. It's worth buying a Link Amiibo just to get the spinner. I'm not too far into the game yet but so far it's my favourite weapon!
