I need advice on something that is upsetting me. When I play or chat on MK8, Occasionally I get messages saying my storage device has been removed. I don't even know what that is. This only happens on MK8, Why is this happening? Its to a point I can't even host and is frustrating me. My nephew doesn't know why this is happening either. Anyone can help me with this problem, I would appreciate it.

  • My guess that's your problem. I don't have an external storage device yet, but I know it's important to have a good one! I don't know much about them, but I know there's ones that are recommended over others! I'd be willing to bet that's your problem! Again I don't have alot of knowledge cause I'm not to that point, but maybe if there's a way to store other games in it and move Mario kart to

  • to the internal storage. I bet it's in that external and it's creating your problem. Sorry I don't know more.

  • Yeah, Seagate makes hard drives. I'm going to need to add a hard drive soon. 32 GB (25 usable) is laughable for internal storage. I've had to delete so much already. I'll have to do some research on what works best.

  • I know how that happens either sometimes you touch the storage usb device and it shows that or either a cable gets unplugged from the usb storage device. It happens to me everytime but it can go away if you press the power button for a few seconds and then it would come back.

  • Charlie go to settings choose copy move or delete data, then choose to move enough data from the wiiu to ur usb ,you'll need at least 8G of space maybe nine or ten for MK 8 ,when you got the space choose to move data from usb to wiiu then put mk8 on yuor wiiu memory, hope this helps,I have all digitl games on a WD 2tb hardrive works a treat and saves lotsa big games.
