    @yan sid, funny thing the PS3 is a better bluray player then the ps4, they all could have saved by buying the old model, or a proper bluray player. @Alex, i have the answer , Nintendo need to put wheels on the Wii U in Japan. they would be mobile and people would flck to buy them . IN ONE FELL SWOOP I HAVE SOLVED THE HOME CONSOLE CRISIS IN JAPAN.

    I think that's what Nintendo is looking to do with the NX That Xbone sale. Xbone's is almost extinct in Japan :O Seeing the Wii U pass 10k is surprising but I wish it was 50k

    @Elliot it's not about consoloes you have, it's about not hating nor being happy for other company's bad situations. @Savi PSVita is very health in Japan, in the opposite you think.

    @Savi like Horuhe said, the Playstation Vita is very healthy in Japan. Heck, it's bigger than the PS4 in Japan. And also this explains why the Vita gets so many Japanese games on there, especially JRPGS. I'm planning on getting one because of my Otakuness, especially those JRPGS on there.

    @horuhe mainly hating, which I don't don't do. But Xbox fanboys are annoying so I'd like to show them that Xbox isn't the best, no consoles are (well you could count the sales of each console to see which is best, so by that logic PS2 is the best home console and the DS is the best handheld). It's just that fanboys don't really have consoles that aren't by the company they're a fanboy of.

    I'm not following the logic here. If XBox fanboys don't have consoles of other company's, then by definition, they can't exist on Miiverse, in which case, what on Earth are we talking about.

    People in Japan tend to do more travelling and overall be less lazy than people here in NA. And the trains they have there can get them a plethora of Streetpass tags, so handheld systems are destined to sell better than home consoles in Japan.

    @Elliot F, actually i am a fan of XBOX, bought the first one at launch ,it has some great games from Classic Sega titles to Halo,Buffy,Ralisport Challenge and more , XBOX 360 has a great library too , it's just a shame they didn't build them to last more then six months before meltdown set in, Great console for games ,just rubbish hardware. repared mine twice. But i also a big Sega and Nintendo --

    -- fan am i , Build quality of Sega and Nintendo consoles are faboulas , and of course great games , i was first inline for Wii U and Dreamcast when launched. I will one day get a XONE as there are games on the system i want to play, it's Sony i care not about to much , though i do have there first three consoles and regard the PS3 a real beast in it's original fat form.

    @PeteVader3 Excuses? Have you seen the Japanese game market lately? Consoles have lost so much popularity there throughout the years and handhelds are crazy popular. I reiterate my point, why would a console's most popular region be a place where handhelds dominate?
