    Really sorry to repost so suddenly. I didn't play as Link on this stage until I did the story write up in the first version. After playing with him for a while I found some cool things to do with angles and his boomerang. Below are some pictures demonstrating these techniques and changes.

    The small angle just in front of Link was brought out from the wall so that the boomerang goes straight up instead of just hitting the wall and disappearing.

    Brought the small angle in front of Link closer toward the stone wall, so the the boomerang can mess with people coming off the ledge or hanging.

    Lowered the cats paw so that you can utilize the same mechanic. This one has very different trajectory possibilities though. Stand back here to mess with any one in the cats mouth.

    And standing right at it will cause it to follow tight along the cats body, until it hits the under side of the chin, at which point it will clip through the lower jaw, and shoot out of the mouth with a dramatic angle change.

    And finally, something I realized that could be done before the changes, (and on both sides of the lava pool btw) is to do a full jump, and hit the wall. The boomerang will reflect and begin to angle back down. If it catches someone at the right time, it can pull them into the lava.
