    i caught that too, im pretty sure The Director was like a father IN LAW to You, as in he's actually Her's Father... the director has pictures of Her in his apartment and then Her drawn as an angel too. as in she is dead now, he grieves. but i cant seem to stop thinking The Director somehow had to with Her's death; he even asks u to think about how he survived before he helps u the first time...
