    The NX is the Codename for the next Nintendo home console which is supposedly be announced at next year's E3 and launched in 2017/18.

    Hold on a sec, Nintendo never confirmed the NX will be a home console. They went further to state that this new gaming platform will not be a simple replacement for the Wii U or 3DS.

    True, it's all under speculation right now as there is no confirmation. We won't receive any information till 2016. Barely any hints were given too aside from Iwata stating it'll be a dedicated gaming platform. My bet will be on the hybrid rumour.
