I'm sure it's been said before, but a remake for Wii U and 3DS with online multi-player seriously needs to become a thing. Make it happen, Nintendo!

    Seems like you might be able to set something up with the game seeing local multiplayer while the system is patching it over the internet. That way, you wouldn't have to resort to a remake, but that could get a bit complicated.
