    They're trying to be THIS guy. I'd say THAT guy, but that just puts that song from early Family Guy in my head, and then it sounds too much like a compliment.

    Some people are just drawn to the opposite. If they see something getting a lot of praise, they feel they must not let it be flawless. Even if there is no real problems with it, they will find something to say.
