You wanna know the only good things from the GBA port of Sonic 1? #1: You can Moowalk through a entire level with the Spin Dash, #2: They Fixed Green Hill Zone act 2's pit, So you won't fall into the pits with spikes, #3: The Remix of the Game Over Music sounds better then the original. Basically that's it. The rest of the GBA port is junk.

  • Moonwalk Sonic is awesome. I always want to play Ice Cap Zone's music when I see Sonic do that. :) Also, you forgot annoyed Sonic. Since the game cannot collision detect well, it is common for Sonic to get trapped in walls. Since he stands still when you do this, eventually he'll start doing his idle animation. As a result, he looks like he's peeking out from walls, glaring at you.

  • If you have the GBA Version, Here's how to moonwalk. First, Use the Anniversary mode for the Spin Dash. Second, Use the Spin dash but Jump immediately when you unleash the Spin dash, Third, Face the opposite direction when Mid Air, Since the level is like ice, Sonic will run Backward as long as you like. Finally Repeat until you beat the act. (This Trick only works on the GBA port.)

  • I haven't tested it on all Zones. (And I never will neither.) But I know it works on Green Hill Zone act 1 to 3. (P.S. if you're Moonwalking straight into a Badnik, Just jump. You'll destroy the Badnik and thanks to the traction of the poor physics, You'll continue to Moonwalk through out a entire Zone, Unless you hit a wall.)

  • Haha, thanks for the advice. I'll probably just stick to the ironically superior iPod Classic port of Sonic 1. Yeah, I know annoyed Sonic is in every game. But in that context, it just looks really funny. Like Sonic is aware of exactly what's going on and isn't amused in the slightest.

  • Yeah, exactly like that.
