    -Huge difficult curve -Poor control -The game never explains what's going on, both story-wise and gameplay-wise -Most of Desert Ruin isn't actually in a desert -Repetitive level design -Creating the story was given to the guys who wrote the script, who aren't experienced in making plots for games -LAVA MOUNTAIN ZONE 2 -Poor implementation of co-op And that's just the tip of the iceberg.

    @D.H. I've only just gotten past Tropical Coast, and I did hear some of the later bosses and stages are lot more difficult. Plus, I don't see anything wrong with the controls. Either way, it gets WAY more hate than it deserves.

    @ToonZach Oh yeah, I forgot about the 3DS version. I am talking about the Wii U game, but I heard the 3DS version was awful.

    I mean, when it did things right, it certainly did things right, like soundtrack and character design for example (I loved the cartoony design of the badniks compared to the ones in Generations), but when it did things wrong, it did them terribly and took away from the game as a whole and in the end make it worse than it could have potentially been.

    @D.H. It's all really a matter of opinion. There are people who like the game, and there are people who hate the game. Some people even compare it Sonic 06.
