  • Those games would be enjoyable if most of them weren't already in the Virtual Console of the Wii.

  • Yep. I'm not gonna waste 2$ just to play the exact same game on a different console.

  • Though its not as bad as having DS games on the WiiU VC. Specially when some of them can still be found in some game retailers. You can find New Super Mario Bros at Gamestop but not Super Mario Sunshine.

  • Same goes for Wii Games. Sometimes I really do question Nintendo's marketing tactics when it comes to this, let's hope E3 changes that.

  • Having GC games for the WiiU VC should have been one of their bigger priorities given how they removed its backwards compatibility with GC games. Them adding DS games instead, popular ones might I add, just screams greed to me.

    Yeahs0
  • Although I wouldn't mind if the Mystery Dungeon games came to Wii U since they're practically impossible to find outside of Ebay

    Yeahs1
  • Wait, Wii U doesn't have backwards compatibility with GC?!

    Yeahs1
  • Nope. I thought you would know this since you have a WiiU.

    Yeahs0
  • I do, but I never got to find this out for myself since I play all my GC games on my original Wii

    Yeahs1
  • Supposedly the main reason why GCN game cannot be played on WiiU is because it lacks the ports for GCN controllers. Before you ask, no, not even the SSB4 GCN controllers can work for them. It was Nintendo themselves who said that.

  • Well ain't that a buncha bolshevik, if that's the case, they really should've made GC VC a priority. Heck, we have Wii Games on the Eshop already.

    Yeahs1
  • I have the feeling that is the main reason why there haven't been any GCN games on the VC yet. Though I wonder if they could just make them compatible with the pro controller instead.
