    See if the fishing rod (preferred) or bug net are on sale in the store. You can also get one of them from Isabel. Fishing is the best source of income.

    Sell 3 out of 4 of your daily fossils. Go to the island around 6:30 to 11:00pm to fish, drive and catch rare beatles, then put it in your basket and sell to Re-tail.(and check her sign for premium items) Also selling non-native fruits gets you a good amount of bells.

    It's easier after you've stumbled through it once. Listen to everyone, & follow Isabelle's advice. She'll get you 10,000 bells the 1st day. The second day, sell 3 of your 4 identified fossils (as suggested), whack all stones repeatedly with a shovel, sell fruit, ask Isabelle for a pole & fish the river & beach starting at 4pm. Sell only at Retail. Buy your house at the post office ATM for 29,800.

    On day 4 you'll be fishing a tropical Island 7-8pm & bringing in over 100,000 bells a day.
