    No, it just stops after i choose a character or stage for some reason. It works perfectly fine with my friend's Wii however.

    Are you talking about the Wii U GamePad or do you mean some other controller? If the GamePad, of course it doesn't work. It's designed for a console released one generation after the Wii.

    @Watok, Nintendo said something about the Wii U Game Pad working for Wii games in a previous Nintendo Direct, but apparently they haven't updated it yet.

    I'll make it all clearee, on my regular Wiii wheee i have all the save files for it, my Wii just tends to stop after i choose a character or stage in Brawl. So i figured why not just replay Brawl and reunlock everything on the Wii U since it won't work on my Wii? Then i remembered it doesn't work with the Gamepad ( Watch Balrog's video about Brawl and the Gamepad finally working with it and you

    Smash Bros. on a GamePad.avi I don't have a Classic Controller and i refuse to use the Wii Remote even the Wii Remote + Nunchuk.
