I listened to Mario Kart Wii's Rainbow Road theme earlier. The freaking nostalgia. MKW definitely had the best Rainbow Road in the series IMO. It just has so much action in it! It's really hard, but once you get good at it, it's really a blast to play on. I remember I used to practice on it a lot in Time Trials, so it ended up being the track I was best at in the game. I almost always won on it -

Wii Rainbow Road is my second favourite, with 3DS coming first. I think MK Wii is probably the most underrated game in the series, actually.

Mario Kart 7's Rainbow Road was okay IMO. Didn't like it as much as Wii's, I found it kinda easy. But the music, oh my gosh the freaking music. Definitely one of my favorite songs of all time.

MKW is easily my favorite Mario Kart game, and I'm generally not a fan of Mario Kart.

Well, Mario Kart 8 also has the anti gravity segments as well as elements from MK7 such as the gliding and customization. I do agree that Wii rainbow road is the best though...

@J.P Unlike most people, I like the 3DS Rainbow Road theme mainly because of how extremely emotional it is rather than the fact that a part of N64's Rainbow Road theme is in it, but it's still nice they threw in a part of the N64 Rainbow Road theme, but it isn't the most emotional part, IMO. @Gaxa I honestly think Wii U Rainbow Road was really a downgrade from Wii's. It has much less things in-

Oh, I know. I didn't even know it was a remix of the N64 theme when I first heard it (and fell in love with it). IT'S JUST. SO. BEAUTIFUL! I think what I like most about MK8 is the controls. Seriously, I have never had such amazing control in a Mario Kart game before. I love it.

Indeed. It's tied with Mario Kart DS's Staff Roll (Mirror) theme as my favorite Mario Kart songs of all time. Mario Kart 8 has great controls. The drifting is like a combination of MKW and MK7's drifting. You don't glide too much and you don't glide too less. But I think I like MKDD's drifting better since you can exploit it to do snaking, even though I'm not that good at it yet. The normal -
