The Dreamcast era (or the sixth generation of consoles) was the WORST era of Sonic out of all of them. It only had one good game (Sonic Adventure 1). That's it. The rest of them were either incredibly mediocre, criminally overrated, or downright awful. People give the modern era cr@p because of 06, but at least it got better after that game.

IDK I actually enjoyed SA2, Sonic Advance 1-3, Heroes and even Shadow the Hedgehog.

What about the 5th generation? That one didn't even get a main series Sonic game.

The fifth generation is part of the Classic era.
