Impressions

The Wii U Smash Bros. needs a game mode that's free(no use of Smash Coins), can give you Custom Specials based on who you play as, and requires the player to have enough skill to get rewards. Smash Run on the 3DS version meets these requirements, but Smash Tour is too luck based on what characters you get or items your rewarded with, and not to mention how the helper trophies and special- ↓cont.

    -match modes can turn the tables so easily, that sometimes, you're faced with impossible odds. It's not balanced or skill based, and it takes up too much time. Maybe they thought making it similar Smash Run wouldn't give much diversity between version, but the Wii U version already has more than enough of that, so I think this game would have been perfectly fine for Smash Run on Wii U version.
