[ Splatoon: Ranked Battle / NES Zapper DLC Out Today ] Nintendo announce that the Ranked Battle Mode (Splat Zones), NZap 85 Weapon DLC & new multiplayer stage (Port Mackerel) will all be made out today in N.America & Tomorrow in Europe at: N.America - Mon, 7pm PT / 10pm ET. Europe - Tue, 3am UK / 4am EU. NZap 85 has great ink efficiency but lacks power. Inc. Splat Bombs & Echo locator special.

    They got that DLC out like lightning. That was too fast. Smash 4 came out in October/November here in the States, but didn't get its first DLC until April. Kinda crazy.

    @Austin not dlc. You pay for dlc. This was an update due to a community unlock. I'm not playing ranked until I have the scope charger. And wow, Port Mackerel is huge.. takes about 30 seconds to go end to end.

    Seeing as how the dlc and ranked battles weren't released until 3am last night here in the UK, i'll be trying them out for the first time later.

    DLC is everything that isn't on the disk and requires a download.
