Two common problems I've seen with teammates; simple to address that will make you a MUCH better player: - Don't paint where I'm painting. This is even more ridiculous when I have a roller and you don't. Paint something else! - Super Jump more to unguarded territory. I hardly see this. I get far to the other side and no one avails themselves of the easy opportunity.

  • I've found that the ideal team combination in early levels is two scattershots and two rollers, although in public matches you don't have much influence over this. Move around in teams of two, have the scattershot protect the roller.

  • In short, if you have a scattershot, stick close to someone with a roller and help them capture as much territory as possible. Bear in mind that they have poor offensive capability, which makes them sitting ducks.

  • One of the best things you can do for your rollers is ink up the high ramps which are their main hindrance. This greatly benefits the whole team but a lot of people neglect this. Tactics really depend on weapon but I'd also say have abilities suited to your playstyle. Sub-weapon ink benefits are useless if you never use sub-weapons, for instance. Try to have only bonuses that matter to you.

  • Try not to die too much. Winners tend to be the ones wasting the least time respawning. If this is a problem consider abilities like quick-respawn, also quick-superjump. Remember you can superjump to a teammate anytime! Hide in walls for easy splats. Ink your base! It's free %. Many neglect this!
