HERE IT IS! Finally after 4 days, I finally have enough motivation to actually start this tutorial. It's gonna be really long so get comfy guys. To keep things simple I'm gonna draw Beth, one of my OC's and when I'm finished you are free to ask questions. Anyways, with all that said, LETS COMMENCE THE ART!

  • I start out all of my drawings with a basic figure. Doing this helps me draw out the final form. It's best if you do a basic figure because it helps your people look more proportional.

  • Next, in the same layer, I start working on a basic idea for the face. Here is where I figure out the placement for the mouth, nose, and eyes. I make all of these placements based on the lines I drew on the head in the basic figure.

  • Next are the eyes. The way I do eyes is well... it's alittle different than how most people do it. First I draw this sorta ovalish shape over where I want the eyes to be. Doing this helps me make the eyes more symmetrical.

  • Continuing with eyes, I then draw the eyes in relation to the oval. I draw eyes in many different ways. That's the problem with my art, my style tends to fluctuate. But anyways, when it comes to eyes I usually like to keep it simple

  • Next I do the hair. Hair is pretty simple, I've used shows like Steven Universe, Adventure Time, and a whole bunch of other cartoons as a reference when it comes to drawing hair.

  • When it comes to drawing bodies there's no way I can really explain it. But the best way to draw bodies is get someone to pose for you or try looking up some photos. Use these as a reference untill you get the basics on anatomy and human form. After the tutorial I'll give some tips.

  • The next part is doing the final sketch, which is basically tracing the rough sketch. This is a great chance to fix and edit any part of the sketch that you don't like.

  • And the final part is coloring! the only thing i have to say about this one is #1 DONT USE THE FILL TOOL FOR COLORING!. Please for christ sake dont do this, just open up a new layer and color it like a coloring book. #2 DONT USE THE LIGHT PEACH PRESET COLOR AS A SKIN TONE. Why? Why would you do this? It doesn't even look like skin. Instead use this RGB code that I usually use : 253,234,207.

  • Well that puts an end to my art tutorial hope you enjoyed and if you have any questions just leave them down below.
