Question

And so the No-Sword Run begins...bringing us to the first obstacle. For this, dear Miiverse friends, I'll need help. Having attempted this before, I have counted 5 total instances where the sword is required to be used. This is the second of those times. Simply put, if I can somehow get past the trees without the sword, I won't have to use the sword the first two times.

    Nah, I'm not a speedrunner. This was more of a challenge than anything else. I actually completed it a few days ago, with a total of...I think it was 8 times that the sword was required. I felt a little unfulfilled, as I did die but continued due to extenuating circumstances, so I do plan to run it again and see if I can get past more sword-requirements.

    But in-full, this was a No-Sword run on Hero Mode and with Permadeath, meaning that a death meant game-over. Looking back, it was quite the journey, and I'm surprised I managed. I'd really like to others try this, as it was incredible fun and really changed the way you had to think.
