    Is Purpleman Phoneguy. I don't get. Phoneguy dies in the first game. But did he come back in the others games, or did Purpleman have to do his job?

    I personally believe phoneguy and purpleguy are the same person. Each game is like a prequal instead of a sequal. It is obvious when you realize phoneguy is alive in fnaf 2 but dead in fnaf 1.

    The 3rd game takes place 30 years after phoneguy died and freddy fazbear pizza was glosed. Phoneguy ended up dying when he decided to take refuge in spring trap as spring trap was made to be an animatronic or wearable suit.

    Their was no endoskeleton in the suit at the time so he died simply because he set the spring locks off. That scene in the fnaf 3 trailer was phoneguy/purpleguys death we witnessed. As soon as purpleguy/phoneguy died the children were able to leave the suits and go to rest.
