Nothing like having to place 1st in four consecutive races to unlock new content, only to lose in the last five seconds of the final race! Nintendo should bring back the original option to retry a race in the single player mode. (And they should give Mario Kart 8 a real battle mode while they're at it.)

    I think Yoshi and Pink Gold Peach are my favorites. I don't like the baby racers at all. But I mostly play as a Mii character online.
