Ugh, that's it, I give up for tonight. I seriously underestimated this guy. He's on a whole different league than the other bosses in the game. Looks like I'll have to change my plans to start Oracle of Ages tomorrow.

    Actually, Capcom pays a wonderful homage to Mega Man X1 in this fight, as you defeat that game's final boss, Sigma, in a nearly identical way. The attacks are even similar.
