There are actually no clones in this game... Marth/Lucina are different enough to have their own slot, Dr. Mario/Mario are quite different, but Dark Pit/Pit are the closest clones. But Lucas, we dont know much about yet.

@Giraprimal I believe Lucas, Roy, and Ryu are the 3 remaining characters to fill upthose empty spots in the 3DS Roster, but more holes will be made in the Wii U character select screen, as only Lucas is needed to make a whole rectangle!

Good thing Lucas is coming back! That's excellent news! But what'd be even BETTER is if we got Pichu back! And that's why the Fighter Ballot is there! Thank goodness!

Its funny because I have a friend named Lucas, so now I smile because of the thought of him being in Smash...xDDD

By the way, Mr. Sakurai said that he won't add characters from fighting games, especially 3rd-party ones. The reason is simple : what does a fighting game character do? He fights. And if he were in Smash, he would do EXACTLY the same thing, which is not interesting enough according to Mr. Sakurai.
