There isn't a sudden increase of people "turning gay" or turning mentally ill. The stigma around these things has lessened recently so people who have been hiding feel safer coming forward. If you demonize them they'll probably continue not to trust you. You could be hurting someone you love and have no idea.

    But, but Miiverse is a place to make friends and have fun... not for depressing stuff like this! Yeah, you may be right. Some people just prefer hiding in the shadows than getting their butts kicked because of how they were created.
