    Can we all just agree that IGN is just a big baby because they adore Call of Duty so much, they think that voice chat functionality affects the overall score for Splatoon

    I can see why they don't add a voice chat. They don't want younger children (keep in mind it is a 7+) to hear harmful, negative, bad or inappropriate words. I believe that they have made the right choice not adding it but I would still like it.

    I am glad that there is no voice chat. Whenever I played games with voice chat other players ruined it with stupid comments and where endless rude if they loose.

    I personally don't care for voice chat so either way it makes no difference for me. The plus though is putting everyone on an equal playing field with regard to skill and to have people find an alternative method to teamwork

    sigh there is an actual simple solution for the voicechat and no voicechat fiasco,and no its not the mute button!Many games give you the option to turn voice chat on or off from the games menu.Meaning if you choose to play with voicechat on your gonna end up in lobbies that all voicechat.If you choose no voicechat guess what?Yeah thats right lobbies with no voicechat.I can safely say 100%...

    guaranteed that ranked battles needs voicechat.Anyone whose played ranked will most certainly agree with me.Of course being able to talk to your team won't do any good if you can't understand each other?Thats why we need a regional lobby system.
