    Capcom was the butt of a lot of Engrish humor in the 8-bit days. Dr. Light's name was Dr. Light, and Clash Man's name was Crash Man. SNK topped that with all their poorly-localized Neo Geo games. One game, Dive Alert, even listed a "Rocalization Team" in their end credits.
