    and pikmin shorts ... but by having a animation studio like sony help it gets more people who might think "nintendo just makes games they probably suck at animation" when they don't if this mario movie does come out and does good then maybe the next movie will just be nintendo

    Also, some people may forget that animation is part of game design. You have to animate the walking, jumping, attacking, and anything else your character might do.
