My Brawl ( Or rather the one my friend has allowed me borrow from him forever ) works, it's my Wii that gets an error code after i choose a character, how should i fix this.

    No, it works on my friend's Wii but not mine, it's my Wii that's the problem.

    You could get a new SD card to transmit the Wii games on, and when you want to play Wii you could move that card in, and when you want to play your download games you can move that card in.
