Smash Bros. on the 3DS probably didn't have to exist, but you guys really overdramatize this and act as if it stole your children and threw them into an icy river, and I think that's just unnecessary. Besides, just because the Ice Climbers were cut doesn't mean they won't come back in a Smash Bros. 5. I don't think that just because a game is lacking a character is a justified reason to hate it.

  • Good for you.

  • But the Wii U is more expensive. Plus, it's a back-up for me right now because my Wii U gamepad charger is broken.

    Yeahs0
  • I didn't say it shouldn't exist.

    Yeahs0
  • I think Smash 3DS should exist because some people might not have a Wii U. It's also a first for the franchise.

    Yeahs0
  • I personally think it should've been a Wii U exclusive to give the Wii U a bit of extra sales because people could buy the 3DS version and the Wii U won't have any more exclusives that make people actually wanna get a Wii U.

  • I understand that logic, but at the same time, are people really gonna buy a new system just to get a new Smash Bros. game that they may or may not like? Probably not, and because more people own a 3DS, I think it made some sense that Nintendo decided to make a 3DS version. That's just my theory, though. I completely understand your logic.

    Yeahs2
  • It made sense because handheld games are huge in Japan, so what better way to capitalize on that than by making a handheld SSB game?

    Yeahs1
  • It did really help Nintendo out in the long run, so Iook at it as a smart business decision that some fans angrily or just disappointedly disagreed with.

    Yeahs1
  • *I look at it as

    Yeahs1
  • I'm sure some people would have been angry if it didn't exist.
