    Technically, Sonic is in a coma and has been for a while, while Sega keeps pretending that he's unconscious and is using him like a puppet for all of his latest games.....except Sonic Lost World, that was actually pretty great!

    in my opinion sonic has moved to far from his classic style, Mario stayed true to the original formula, which is a key to his popularity. mordern sonic games are ok, but side scrolling was best for sonic. solving puzzles shouldn't be in a race to the end as fast as possible .

    Only two disappointing games? Sonic School House for PC, Sonic The Hedgehog Genesis for GBA, Sonic Jam for Tiger Electronic's Game.Com. There are more games than just Sonic 2006 and Sonic Boom that have misfired over the years, just saying. Still doesn't mean the series is doomed though, every long running video game series has had at least a few low points in their lifespan.
