I never get on a match because I "failed to connect to my partner's device". Please help!!

i was thinking about a wired connection but i have a feeling that wont solve anything

I'm on a hotspot and I tried tethering, DMZ, and couldn't figure out how to forward ports.

Well, I think you probably get a different error code most of the time; connection error?

i sometimes see 118, usually doesnt tell me the code just that the connection was unstable

Exactly what I was talking about. I'm gonna see if I can get the Nintendo support line to help me on this one. For the connection errors, try changing your channel to 1 or 11.
