Seriously, Nintendo. Going up against three 20's and an 18, with me being the highest level at 11, and losing the match with the winning team having about 80% of the field kinda makes the argument AGAINST completely randomizing team members. Needs better balance, better net code, and better matchmaking.

  • Umm, being level 20 doesn't automatically mean you're skilled at the game. It means you've played a lot of matches. It's not like they can determine how good you are at the game by just your level. Randomizing is the only way to do things.

  • yeah it determines on how your whole team plays

  • Compare lower level equipment to the higher level equipment, then try that argument again. I know it takes an amount of patience to get higher levels (skill helps, but given how you get XP regardless), but the higher level items and weapons do have better stats, and more perks attached. Lower level items have some decent things, but don't have as many perks, and don't hold up as well.

  • The modified items either have the same stats of the original, or one better stat and one bad stat. The only difference is the appearance, which is usually unnoticed ingame, and different specials.

  • And that doesn't even take the amiibo equipment into account. A full suit of power armor is enough to give multiple attack, defense, speed, and ink saving perks. The only thing is, how much are you willing to shell out for the figure that unlocks it?

  • As for working as a team, how can you even do that when you can't even communicate with them?

  • @Leland: Again, the higher level items have better stats and more perks. Given how the perks add to the stats, and the higher level items have more perks, it doesn't take a lot to note which is better. After all, running with 3 ink saver (main) is better than running with 1, just as much as having 2 Defense Up perks are better than none. And the higher level items have more slots, so try again.

  • Actually, weapons don't give you perks, clothing does. And clothing is different every day. Whether you get 3 star clothing in stock or not is because of rarity. Judd even says so.

  • Sorry, but given how I've seen nothing but 3 and 4 perk items on the higher level players, and the lower ones only having 1 or 2 perk items, I don't think rarity has anything to do with it. I know the shop updates daily, but I've also seen better items unlock after leveling up. So again, higher level, better equipment. And the gripe about matchmaking and random teams still stands.
