Its pretty obvious that Pearl had a serious crush on Rose which is why she and Greg were love rivals, as seen in this night's episode. But because of that episode, I started to like Pearl a lot less. She just gets way to jealous. -_-

Pearl is great character though, it's just that the writers of the show focus too much on her flaws. When it comes to situations like this in the show, I can't really decided who to side with. Either Greg and Rose go on and be happy together or watch Greg fail and continue to be isolated from the gems. I honestly think it's because I relate to Pearl so much. I mean, we are kinda in the same boat.
