    It bothers me that the logo JUST says Earthbound. Why didn't they add beginnings under it?

    Yeah, I feel like Earthbound Zero would've been a better title here in the states imo. It would lessen the confusion for people who aren't familiar with the mother series.

    That name was used in Phil Sandhop's translation of the game. Nintendo used the translation, but took "Zero" out of the title.

    I doubt that Zero was part of the original translation. The use of zero was clearly due to the SNES EarthBound so the prototype for this game's offical translation would not have used that for obvious reasons.
