So Nintendo says this game takes place in the '80s and the translation was done 25 years ago, so why does the kid say this? Is he just making stuff up schoolyard style? Is he psychic like Ninten and predicting the arrival of, I dunno, Super Mario Sunshine? Is the game somehow aware this translation wouldn't be acknowledged until 2015? So many questions.

    Fun Fact: In japan te games were originally Dragon Quest IV and Dragon Quest III. But they changed it to avoid issues.

    Clearly this is supposed to be a joke, otherwise they would have just named the game (wich is ether "Super Mario Galaxy" or "New Super Mario Bros. 2" depending on wether you include the 3D games or just stick to the 2D ones).
