    You need to have had TIY for at least 30 days, AND you need to have spent at least 100,000 bells in TIY, AND you need to pass Gracie's fashion checks four times. The fashion checks require planning. When you try on clothes / accessories in Ables, one of the sisters will identify the style by saying something like "it has a formal look". There are about 12(?) styles. Assemble a complete set of each

    (for example, formal, sporty, flashy, etc.). That way, when Gracie visits for a fashion check you can simply switch into the set of clothes that matches the style necessary that day to pass.

    Gracie is a giraffe. When visiting your town, Gracie will stand in your town plaza, in front of the tree. Talk to Gracie to find out which style you need to wear to pass the fashion check. You need to pass four fashion checks, so it'll take some time.

    Four visits (for four fashion checks) will take at least four weeks. Also, when there are events going on in town Gracie may not visit that week. Gracie will continue to come back until you've passes four checks (so don't worry if you fail some.)
