I just found the perfect way to catch pokémon, u first enter a level with ur most powerful pokémon, then when u come ↑to a pokémon u dont have any, kill all the other ones around him but DONT kill him..yet, Next switch to your weakest pokémon and start hitting and keeping hitting him until hopefully he becomes wobly, if that happens, quickly switch back to your strong one and u can get him.

    this has worked for me 7/9 times and the reason was i wasn't fast enough, try pushing right on the control pad to speed up the wind up of pokémon a little bit, it works.

    i use my gutsy pineco. and also you can only make the boss dizzy when it is danceing and thereis white smoke before it is invincible (not the red thing)
